The Civil Servant Loan is accessible to Government Employees in Uganda employed in entities such as Local Governments, Ministries, Police, Prisons, Public Universities, and Referral Hospitals among others.
The maximum loan amount issued under the Civil Servant Loan is UGX 30 million. It’s an unsecured loan whereby re-payments are deducted directly from the payroll.
The loan repayment term periods go up to 96 months. Civil Servants can apply for this loan via our USSD Code *249# and it’s accessible across all our branches countrywide.
