Platinum Credit is a leading Regional Micro Finance Company providing emergency loans to
employed individuals in Africa.
Job details:
Lead loan growth and portfolio oversight at branch level, ensuring alignment with company objectives
and delivering measurable impact in the agricultural finance sector.
Key duties/responsibilities:
▪ Lead branch staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly loan disbursement and collection
targets.
▪ Maintain and analyze disbursement and collections reports, implementing targeted
interventions for staff as needed.
▪ Ensure compliance with lending processes, including origination, appraisal, approval, and
monitoring.
▪ Conduct field visits to clients and key stakeholders within the branch coverage area.
▪ Chair loan committees, oversee disbursement meetings, and ensure complete loan
documentation.
▪ Recruit, train, and coach Loan Officers to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio.
▪ Manage staff performance through appraisals, remediation plans, and continuous
improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
▪ Degree in a relevant field.
▪ Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial institution.
▪ Knowledge of Agricultural Finance Loans.
▪ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
▪ Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
▪ Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
▪ Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
