Platinum Credit is a leading regional microfinance company with an extensive branch network across Uganda.
We specialize in providing emergency loans and tailored financial solutions, including Civil Servant Loans,
Logbook Finance, SME Loans, and Private Sector Loans.
Job Summary:
Responsible for aligning sales performance with core business targets by driving strategic staff recruitment
and loan volumes while maintaining optimal portfolio health.
Key duties/responsibilities:
1. Drive Sales Growth: Lead and manage sales teams to consistently meet recruitment and loan
disbursement targets in line with organizational growth objectives.
2. Oversee the Loan Lifecycle: Supervise the full loan process from application to disbursement
ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strict adherence to risk and compliance standards.
3. Manage portfolio quality: Monitor portfolio performance daily, implementing proactive recovery
and delinquency management strategies to minimize Portfolio at Risk (PAR).
4. Optimize Branch Operations: Coordinate daily operations to remove bottlenecks, streamline
workflows, and enhance service delivery and scalability.
5. Develop high performing teams: Coach, mentor, and train staff to build a culture of accountability,
ownership, and continuous professional development.
6. Improve Processes and Client Experience: Evaluate operational systems and implement
innovations that increase efficiency and strengthen customer satisfaction.
7. Strategic Reporting: Produce accurate daily and monthly performance reports with actionable
insights to support informed management decisions.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or any other related field.
▪ A master’s degree will be of added advantage.
▪ At least five (5) years relevant work experience in microfinance and/or banking.
Key Competencies
▪ Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to mentor staff and foster a performance
driven culture.
▪ Deep understanding of microfinance lending practices.
